Alignment & Acceleration in April

Last week, I noticed lots of mushrooms had come up overnight on our work lawn. I was reminded that mushrooms grow in wet, dark places and then suddenly spring up when conditions are just right!

The word “spring” has multiple meanings:

  • A season between winter and summer, bringing renewal and new life (“Flowers bloom in the spring.”)

  • A sudden leap or movement

  • A natural water source

  • A coil or elastic device that stores and releases energy

As a verb, "spring" means to move or jump suddenly. It can also mean to appear or grow suddenly.

This month, I believe God is aligning people in relationships even more for His purposes—like a spring coil aligned for God’s movement—springing into action and acceleration.I love that this month is Easter, reminding us constantly of resurrection life—new birth, new life, and newness. It awakens us to the new things God is doing in us as we move with Him—even as some of us wait in hallways—knowing that He is the Way, opening the doors. (Isaiah 22:22)

It reminds me of Song of Songs 2:12 (TPT):The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth.

I see the Bride of Jesus aligning—coming together in a straight line—using her voice, standing in her authority, standing in holiness, crowned, and moving as one body. Thank you, Jesus, for giving us a deeper revelation of who we are and how to move and walk in this year - with you and with each other.

Spring Declarations:

  • I declare that I am springing into action—moving swiftly and boldly in alignment with God’s call on my life.

  • I declare that I am springing into acceleration—stepping into rapid growth and divine momentum.

  • I declare that I am springing into alignment—joining together with others in the body of Christ, ready to follow as Holy Spirit leads.

Questions:

  1. In which areas do you need to realign your thinking with what God has for you this month and in 2025? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal this—then repent and realign. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

  2. Who has God highlighted for you to be more intentional with your relationships this month, year, or season?

  3. What are the new things God is doing in you? Welcome Holy Spirit into all those places. Remember, it is not by power or might, but by Holy Spirit’s power as we learn to move, breathe, and live in Him.
