Nearly every day this week, I have glanced at my phone when the time was 5:05, 5: 55, 5:50 … It’s Holy Spirit's gentle reminder that GRACE (represented as 5 in the Bible) is in multiple measures - sometimes I need lots of reminders of that!
I love the scripture in Zechariah 4:6-7 - which says GRACE, GRACE to it! Grace for the obstacles, grace for the solutions & grace for the building & strengthening God is doing in me & you in this season - GRACE to it!
"Then he said to me, 'This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘What are you, O
great mountain [of obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who will rebuild the temple] you will become a plain (insignificant)! And he will bring out the capstone [of the new temple] with loud shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” Zechariah 4:6-7 (AMP)
In the spirit, I see myself passing through waters to another new piece of land/space/occupation - with Jesus leading the way on His white horse! When the Israelites passed through the red seas out of Egypt, they left things behind to venture into the new - they left old mindsets behind, ways of doing things, rhythms of doing things, and even some people that they had been working with. This was in order to build the new thing God had for them.
As we keep walking out this faith journey, I’m celebrating the momentum, the forward posture & the leaning in. We don’t need to stay in the old ways, when there’s an invitation of God’s freshness for this season & empowerment in His grace - including grace to build and grace to finish well!
Not by might, nor by power, but by Holy Spirit - leaning into His rhythms, His grace, looking at Jesus’ face, as He leads the way. Knowing that where we are going will be better than the previous spaces we’ve lived in - a higher perspective than before, a greater anointing as we lean into Holy Spirit; blooming & flourishing in spaces with Him as we allow our roots to go deeper than before - GRACE, GRACE to it!
LIFE APPLICATION:
Declare Zechariah 4:6-7 over the situations in your life. Ask Holy Spirit for His oil to overflow in a greater measure as you lean into His grace.
2. Read Psalm 100:1-5
“Lift up a great shout of joy to YAHWEH! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! Worship YAHWEH with gladness. Sing your way into his presence with joy! And realize what this really means— we have the privilege of worshiping YAHWEH our God. For he is our Creator and we belong to him. We are the people of his pleasure. You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name! For YAHWEH is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation!”
Recall God's Goodness in your life - thank Him for what He has already done.
Recall what He has told you He will still do. Declare the heavenly solutions to these promises - He is faithful and what God begins He likes to finish!!
If it’s not good yet, God’s not finished yet, keep moving in His goodness - it’s who He is.
